#MarketBlack Small Business Pitch Competion Winners

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, the first ever #MarketBlack Small Business Pitch Competition was held. It was a fantastic private event with a larger-than-expected turnout. There were seven (7) pitch competitors, five (5) judges, a dynamic and prolific speaker, and an open vote for the People's Choice Award. Most of all, it was all love and support for our BOBs. ​The winners of the 2021 #MarketBlack Small Business Pitch Competition are listed and seen below:

The judges panel was an all-star HTX entrepreneur line-up from Marcus Bowers of She's Happy Hair and Marcus Bowers TV to Grace Rodriguez of Impact Hub Houston, Nkem Oji-Alala of Emergent Business Solutions and African Fashion Week Houston, Dozie Oheri of Choose to Do, Inc, and Savant Moore--teacher of self-preservation to urban millenials and author of Release the Debts.  Guest Speaker was Sedrick Keeler author of "You Are Powerful" and long-time host of 90.1 KPFT show, "​The Conscious Mindset".
